The mounting rack is the part of the system that securely attaches the solar panels to your structure. There are a variety of different ways to mount your solar system, and the way you do that will depend on your situation. You could mount them on your south-facing rooftop, on the ground, on walls, or on poles.

If you are installing a system in a zoned residential area, you may have to mount then flush to your roof, parallel to the roof slope, as to be aesthetically pleasing. If you have lots of land to spare, a ground-mounted system may be a better option because you can orient and tilt the panels however you want, and they can be adjusted more easily.
