Battery Bank

Battery banks are used to store electricity to be released overtime, or in times of no production from the solar panels, like at night. A battery bank is an essential part of an off-grid solar electric system, and can be added to a grid-tied system to prevent loss of electricity during blackouts. Most of the batteries look similar to car batteries, but are specially designed deep-cycle batteries to handle the charging and discharging cycles of solar power.
