Subfloor PanelsAs radiant heating has grown in popularity, so has the technology associated with it. The subfloor panel system has become more and more popular in radiant projects. It provides a solid, structural subfloor with pre-cut grooves in it for the radiant tubing. There is also usually a sheet of metal attached to the top and in the grooves to better facilitate the heat transfer from the tubing to the surrounding room. The subfloor panel system provides for a very efficient and effective system of delivering radiant heat, right in the structural sub floor. |
