This idea is similar to the solar injected geothermal, except on the radiant heating side of the system. If you were able to pipe in solar to the main buffer tank in a radiant heating system, providing a good portion of the heat during the day, the heat pump or boiler wouldn’t have to come on, which is also great for efficiency. That idea of heating would basically cost nothing to operate, because it utilized free energy from the sun.
